The information below has been helpful to our guests and we hope it will help future guests have a great cruise.

A typical 2-1/2 hour cruise will pass by Charleston landmarks such as the Battery, Waterfront Park, historic Castle Pinckney, the USS Yorktown, under the Arthur Ravenel JR bridge and possibly out to Ft. Sumter, where the Civil War began.  You will usually see dolphins playing in the bow wake or cruising in the shallows.  There is also a great variety of coastal bird life to see, so bring your good cameras.

We invite you to bring a picnic and your own beverages, but will be glad to help you arrange a locally catered meal which we will pick up and have on board when you arrive.  We will provide ice, bottled water and glassware.  Our fully equipped galley includes a coffee maker, blender, serving ware and utensils.  Bring your favorite playlist on your smart phone and we will be glad to play your music on our sound system.

Please wear soft sole shoes and clothing/bathing suits appropriate for the weather.  Hats, sunscreen and sunglasses are advised.  In Spring and Fall, jackets are always a good idea.

In accordance with our licensing with the U.S. Coast Guard, we can take up to 6 passengers, not including the captain and the crew.  Please rest assured that the cruise is your private group only, whether it includes 2 or 6 of you.

What happens if there is a bad weather forecast?2017-06-03T04:59:40+00:00

We will keep an eye on the weather and advise you accordingly.  If we feel that it is best to cancel, we will do our best to reschedule or return your payment in full.  Please keep in mind that during the summer months, Charleston most always has a chance of rain in the heat of the afternoon, so we will not be quick to cancel unless foul weather is imminent upon departure.  Please keep in mind that we have a fully enclosed and air-conditioned cabin if we get caught in typically short and passing afternoon rain storm.

If you have to cancel, we would like to reschedule your cruise based on a mutually agreeable date in the future.  If that is not possible, the cancellation will be subject to the fees designated in the Terms and Conditions agreed to upon making your payment for the reservation.

Where do we board the Estrellita for our cruise?2017-07-16T14:20:47+00:00

The Estrellita is on “C” Dock, slip 33 of the Charleston Harbor Marina, Patriots Point, Mt. Pleasant.  We ask you to be at this location 15 minutes prior to your cruise time for a tour of the boat and a short safety briefing.

How do we pay you?2017-06-03T05:00:18+00:00

Upon making a reservation, full payment for the basic charter fee will be due if the cruise is scheduled within a month.  We will hold a reservation for 50% of the charter fee if the charter is more than 30 days out.  Payment will be made with credit card information given over the phone during booking.  Any fees for catering or other services will be discussed and charged separately prior to the day of your cruise.

We will always respond quickly to an email sent to Burke or Stel Lee at estrellita1crew@gmail.com.  Most of the planning for your event will be done via email, so we will need your contact information upon your booking.  You can reach us by phone at 843-352-4059.
